Each month, join me in sharing what moves you as you read. Different from last year’s format, we will begin each book on the first of every month and interact via Goodreads along the way.
This year has an amazing line up of specially curated books meant to challenge us, not only as clinicians, but as empathetic human beings. The stories being told are the authentic lived experiences of real people. Some aspects of these stories may touch on our own pain while others may be beyond our comprehension. I encourage you to honor your feelings and take care of yourself along the way. I hope these twelve lives help us to grow in our compassion and enhance our cultural awareness.
Step 1: Email Andi to sign up for more information and updates!
Step 2: Read the book. Each month, explore a new story, and a new perspective!
Step 3: Join the group. An invitation will be sent to join our Goodreads group.
This year we’re working to meet the need for increased flexibility by utilizing Goodreads, the world’s largest site for readers and book recommendations. This year will also facilitate two separate groups. One group will be for clinicians and professionals and a separate group will be for the general public. When emailing Andi, be sure to specify your group preference.
