Jennifer Mancuso Urban specializes in women’s mental health, pregnancy and postpartum, as well as grief and loss (including miscarriage, stillbirth, and TFMR). She graduated with a Master’s in Social Work from New York University and has worked with new mothers and parents in community, hospital, and private practice settings in New York. Jennifer has been passionate about working with infants and their parents for as long as she can remember.

In addition to specializing in Perinatal Mental Health, Jennifer has experience treating crisis, trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and couples therapy. Jennifer is Co-Director of the WNY Postpartum Connection and her work is dedicated to improving access to specialized maternal health care. She facilitates peer consultation groups through Postpartum Support International and provides consultation, mentorship and supervision for students and therapists in the field of perinatal mental health. Jennifer believes therapy is an open conversation. It is a collaborative process where the role of the therapist is to help facilitate the session dictated by the client’s needs.
