WHAT CAUSES TRAUMA

CHILDHOOD TRAUMA INCREASES THE RISK OF FUTURE TRAUMA
Experiencing trauma in childhood can be severe and long-lasting. When childhood trauma is not resolved, a sense of fear and helplessness carries over into adulthood, setting the stage for further trauma.
