You are the most important person you will ever meet. Why not be on good terms with yourself? I believe relationships aren’t just about finding the right person—they’re about learning how to know yourself with others. My mission is to help you move from feeling unseen or misunderstood to feeling connected, grounded, and known. I welcome people from all walks of life, creating space for each person’s full complexity and story.
The world today makes many assumptions about the nature of mental health, oftentimes seeing depression, anxiety, or other psychological concerns as problems to be avoided and eradicated. However, there is much that our symptoms can teach us about ourselves and our world if we know how to listen to them. Sometimes, they even hold the key to our psychological well-being.
I specialize in treating adults with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and family conflict. I have experience and interest in working with men from diverse backgrounds who struggle with shame and have developed unhealthy coping addictions like gaming, gambling and pornography. As an expert in trauma work, I believe we all have wounds whether they be generational, childhood upbringing, a past relationship, or the relationship we are in now. Sometimes we find out that the old solutions don’t work as well as they used to and we feel stuck. My clients seek to be understood as unique individuals, to improve their personal relationships, get relief from painful emotional symptoms, gain greater control of their lives, change lifelong ways of coping, and stop self-destructive behaviors.
I believe as human beings we are wired for connection—but relationships can be messy and complex. I work with people at pivotal moments: navigating modern dating, facing relationship ultimatums, processing a breakup or divorce, struggling with being a parent, or trying to find solid ground in the middle of a major life transition. If you’re feeling disconnected, stuck, or gone radio silent, I can help you slow down, get curious, and practice emotional attunement.
I try to make my sessions feel like thoughtful, engaging conversations rather than clinical exercises. Having lived in various cultures around the world, I excel at asking thoughtful questions, listening deeply, and holding multiple perspectives. My clients tell me they appreciate my warmth, humor, and deep intuition, and I often feel like a guy they’ve always known.
I’ve moved often and, by necessity, developed a love of travel. I truly enjoy hearing people’s travel stories. When I am not working, I am usually at home relaxing with my family and making music – I play the guitar, bass, piano and tuba!
