I’ve heard it said that there is no problem we must ever face or solve on our own. If you are continually finding yourself feeling stuck, alone, or hurt in your most important relationships, it may be time to ask for help. My focus includes working with individuals and couples recovering from wounds in their relationships, including LGBTQ+ and non-traditional relationships. I also work with people to improve mental health and increase self-love, effective communication, and professional success. No matter the issue, I strive to understand and motivate my clients to step beyond a place of hurt into a place of healing.
I believe that true change happens now, in the present moment. With advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, I am prepared to help individuals and couples overcome relationship and intimacy concerns. I am also earning an advanced degree in Thanatology which prepares me to provide education and counseling for death-related and non-death losses. I will play an active role as we explore new ways of relating to yourself and others so that you can get out of the negative, hurtful cycles you might be finding yourself in.
MORE ABOUT ME
I consider myself to be a creative at heart. My background in theatre and the performing arts has allowed me to travel and work as an actor, director, writer, coach, and teacher. I am passionate about helping others enhance their own creative voice and to find freedom in their self- expression. Creativity and life coaching sits at the heart of my practice. In my free time, I can be found reading, singing, writing, cooking, and spending quality time with my partner.
